Role Summary
The Sales Executive is the company’s primary representative in the field. This role is responsible for generating revenue by prospecting new clients, growing and retaining an existing portfolio, and promoting the full paint product range. Leveraging deep sector knowledge, the Sales Executive brings both technical expertise and commercial acumen to every customer interaction, acting as a trusted advisor and business developer in the assigned territory.
Key Responsabilities
Business Development & Prospecting
- Actively prospect new clients
- Identify market opportunities and build a commercial action plan for the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular field visits and organize product demonstrations.
- Negotiate and close sales contracts in line with the company’s pricing policy.
Client Portfolio Management & Retention
- Manage and grow an active client portfolio (wholesalers, distributors, contractors, retailers).
- Maintain regular client contact and build long-term, trust-based relationships.
- Understand each client’s specific needs and propose tailored product solutions.
- Handle commercial complaints and disputes with professionalism and responsiveness.
Paint Product Technical Expertise
- Master and present the full product range: decorative paints, anti-rust, epoxy, bituminous, road marking, etc
- Advise clients on the most suitable products for their technical and aesthetic requirements.
- Provide technical training and demonstrations at client and distributor premises.
- Relay field feedback to the technical and marketing teams for product improvement.
Sales Reporting & Pipeline Management
- Write visit reports and update the CRM system after each client interaction.
- Monitor orders, deliveries, and client payments in coordination with the sales administration team.
- Submit weekly commercial activity reports to the sales director.
- Analyze performance against targets and propose corrective action plans.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Watch
- Monitor competitors, their product offerings, and pricing strategies.
- Track trends in the local and international paint market.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and professional events.
CANDIDATE PROFIL
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BAC+2/+4) in Sales, Business, Marketing, or a technical field (chemistry, construction).
- Additional training in paint technology, coatings, or construction is a strong advantage
Technical Skills
- In-depth knowledge of paint products and their technical applications.
- Strong command of sales and negotiation techniques.
- Good understanding of the local paint market and key players.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license regular field travel required.
